The AGC Certificate of Management-Lean Construction (CM-Lean) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to lean adoption, practice and process transformation outlined in AGC’s Lean Construction Education Program. Successful candidates will carry the CM-Lean designation.
AGC’s Lean Construction Education Program can teach construction professionals at all experience levels the necessary building blocks to transform their projects and companies into a lean operating system.
Unit 1 | Variation in Production Systems – A four-hour in-seat course.
Unit 2 | Pull in Production – A four-hour in-seat course.
Unit 3 | Lean Workstructuring – A four-hour in-seat course.
Unit 4 | The Last Planner® System – A four-hour in-seat course.
Unit 5 | Lean Supply Chain and Assembly – An eight-hour in-seat course.
Unit 6 | Lean Design and Pre-construction – A four-hour in-seat course.
Unit 7 | Problem-solving Principles and Tools – A seven-hour in-seat course.
CM-Lean candidates must successfully complete the seven Lean Construction Education Program courses, provide AGC with record of completion and have an approved application in advance of exam administration.
Lean Construction Education Program Training Schedule
Typically, all courses are held at the AGC Florida East Coast Chapter Office, 2617 N Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407. Registration fee includes the Participant’s Manual for the course and lunch if a full day class or if taking more than one unit on the same day. Testing fees are separate and handled directly through AGC of America – not through the local chapter. Pre-registration is required for all courses.
